2018 Tour de MWCD

3rd Annual Tour de MWCD - Bike & Hike Fundraiser

On Saturday, July 14, Nick Lautzenheiser will complete a one-day, 220-mile bicycle ride around the Muskingum Watershed to raise awareness and funds for the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation’s Bike & Hike Fund (rain dates are July 13 or July 15). This year’s route will highlight the southeastern portion of the watershed and include stops at Tippecanoe, Barnesville, Caldwell, McConnelsville, Zanesville, and Plainfield (see map). The route will visit four MWCD lakes and travel along portions of the Muskingum River. Nick will finish at the MWCD Main Office in New Philadelphia.

The Bike & Hike Fund supports bicycle and trail projects in parks and communities throughout the Muskingum Watershed, bike lanes and signage for roadways, and trailheads and trail amenities.

You may contribute per mile or any amount you wish. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Together we can encourage more people to get outside and enjoy our beautiful watershed!
