Schoch to Serve as Chair of Board of Trustees in 2017

October 26, 2016The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation Board of Trustees elected its slate of officers for 2017. The Board re-elected James Schoch of New Philadelphia as Chair, Harry Horstman of Scio as Vice Chair and Faye Heston of Canton as Secretary-Treasurer as its officers for 2017.

A retired bank president, Schoch is the Executive Director of the Eastern Ohio Development Alliance, an independent nonprofit economic develoment organization consisting of sixteen counties in Eastern and Southeastern Ohio. Schoch also is a member of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) Development Advisory Committee. Horstman is a retired educator and former director of Camp Aldersgate at Leesville Lake. Horstman also served on the MWCD Board of Directors for 13 years. Heston serves on various community service organizations and is a board member of the Stark County Park District. Heston is also a former member of the MWCD Development Advisory Committee.
